VT Cosmetics Cica Reti-A Essence 0.7 is a booster essence with a high concentration of retinol and centella that intensely stimulates epidermal cell renewal, accelerating the natural processes of keratinization and exfoliation.
The formula reduces the risk of inflammation and breakouts - it exfoliates dead cells and excess sebum while regulating sebaceous gland activity. Through regular cell renewal, skin achieves an even tone free of post-acne marks and age spots, along with improved texture as the product reduces pore size and depth and smooths expression lines and static wrinkles.
Contains 0.7% Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate - one of the most advanced and effective forms of retinol. Upon contact with skin, it converts directly into retinoic acid, bypassing other transformation stages for the gentlest and fastest results: minimizes enlarged pores, reduces wrinkle depth, prevents acne, and fights pigmentation. Retinol also stimulates collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis.
The formula is enhanced with Cicahyalon™ complex, which includes hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica derivatives, and green propolis extract. The product optimizes protective functions, softens and nourishes sensitive skin, and provides long-lasting hydration.
Additional Active Ingredients:
- Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8) — a peptide with botox-like effects: relaxes facial muscles, prevents expression lines and creases, and reduces the depth of existing wrinkles.
- EGF (Sh-oligopeptide-1, Sh-polypeptide-1) — epidermal growth factor that stimulates repair and new cell growth, reducing wrinkle depth, optimizing barrier function, and accelerating healing of inflammation.
- Bakuchiol — a plant-based ingredient with retinol-like action: stimulates renewal and makes skin smoother and more even.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) offers multifunctional benefits: regulates sebum production, eliminates shine, brightens and prevents pigmentation, and stimulates collagen production to improve firmness and elasticity.
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) — provides antioxidant protection against free radicals, slowing the aging process, preventing pigmentation, evening tone, and delivering natural radiance.
- PHA (Gluconolactone) gently exfoliates dead cells, brightens pigmentation, and smooths texture. Working gently, gluconolactone gradually strengthens the skin's surface layer, reducing sensitivity.
- LHA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid) — a gentle salicylic acid alternative with larger molecules that work more delicately. Dissolves pore impurities, brightens sebaceous filaments, prevents blackheads, and smooths texture by reducing pore size and depth.
Suitable for oily, combination, and normal skin.
How to Use: During your evening routine, apply an appropriate amount to clean skin, gently pat in with fingertips, and allow to fully absorb. Follow with toner and moisturizer. During the day, apply SPF50 PA++++ sunscreen.
Note: This booster essence may cause a warm sensation and redness upon application.
Precautions: Do not use simultaneously with exfoliants or scrubs, or with products containing AHA, BHA, or high-concentration vitamin C. Do not use during current or planned pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or after cosmetic procedures. If you're new to retinol, start with once per week and gradually increase frequency.
