VT Cosmetics Cica Reti-A Essence 0.1 is a lightweight booster essence with retinol and centella - a multifunctional product with pronounced anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.
Thanks to acids in the formula, the product regulates sebum secretion, reduces acne risk, and gently brightens post-inflammatory and age-related pigmentation. The booster essence delivers anti-aging benefits - retinol and bakuchiol stimulate cellular renewal and activate collagen and elastin production. With regular use, texture and surface irregularities improve, pore size and depth decrease, and wrinkles and fine lines smooth out.
The main active ingredient is Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (0.1%), one of the most advanced and effective forms of retinol. Upon contact with skin, it converts directly into retinoic acid, bypassing other transformation stages for gentler and faster results. This multi-active ingredient has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties: reduces acne risk, regulates sebum production, and evens tone and texture by minimizing pore size and depth and smoothing wrinkles.
The formula is enhanced with Cicahyalon™ complex, which includes hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica derivatives, and green propolis extract. The product optimizes protective functions, softens and nourishes sensitive skin, and provides long-lasting hydration.
Additional Active Ingredients:
- Bakuchiol — a plant-based ingredient with retinol-like action: stimulates renewal and makes skin smoother and more even. Bakuchiol does not cause irritation and is suitable for sensitive skin.
- PHA (Gluconolactone) gently removes dead cells, smooths texture, and brightens pigmentation. Has larger molecules than AHA, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
- LHA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid) — a gentle salicylic acid alternative with larger molecules that work more delicately. Dissolves pore impurities, brightens sebaceous filaments, prevents blackheads, and smooths texture by reducing pore size and depth.
- Niacinamide slows melanin transfer to the surface layer, preventing pigment spot formation. Regulates sebum production, reduces shine, and minimizes pores. Reduces sensitivity to environmental stressors and boosts local immunity.
Suitable for all skin types.
How to Use: During your evening routine, apply an appropriate amount to clean skin, gently pat in with fingertips, and allow to fully absorb. Follow with toner and moisturizer. During the day, apply SPF50 PA++++ sunscreen.

Precautions: Do not use simultaneously with exfoliants or scrubs, or with products containing AHA, BHA, or high-concentration vitamin C. Do not use during current or planned pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or after cosmetic procedures. If you're new to retinol, start with once per week and gradually increase frequency.
