I applied this serum directly after cleansing, skipping the toner. That is because what my skin needs most is to shrink my pores. It absorbs really well. It seems difficult to see pore reduction in the short term, but I did feel a decrease in oiliness. So, I purchased it with the intention of continuing to use it for the time being.
