Sheet Absolute Cream

The Evinho Absolute Coloring Cream 120g is a standalone tube. You apply it with developer you supply separately, which gives flexibility if you already have compatible developer at a chosen volume. Available as an unspecified shade tube and in named shades such as 5N Natural Brown and 5G Light Brown.

The Absolute Coloring Cream Dye 120g + Oxidizer 100ml kits pair the cream with a matched developer. Kit shades include 01N Black, 10R Red, 9MB Milk Brown, 6.05 Natural Brown, 7NB Light Brown, and 9CB Copper Light Brown. The developer included in each kit is selected to suit the target shade, so there is no guesswork about which volume to use. This format is the better choice for less experienced home colorists or for shades like 10R that require a specific developer strength.

The Evinho Absolute Coloring Cream includes conditioning agents - typically proteins and moisturizing compounds - alongside the standard PPD-based colorant and alkaline swelling agents. These additions are intended to reduce the brittleness and dryness that can follow permanent dyeing, especially on hair that has been previously processed.

The conditioning agents do not affect how the permanent color works - the chemistry is the same two-component oxidative process. The difference shows in post-dye texture: hair colored with Evinho Absolute typically feels softer when rinsed and dries with more smoothness than with a standard cream formula. This matters most for fine or already-porous hair. On healthy, unprocessed hair, the textural difference is smaller but still noticeable if you compare directly.

Sheet uses the international depth scale from 1 (near-black) to 10 (very light blonde). Most Absolute Cream shades cluster in the medium-to-light brown range, with a few outliers at the extremes:

• 01N: Depth 1 near-black, neutral. Covers grey fully and gives a flat dark result.
• 5N / 5G: Depth 5 medium brown, neutral or gold. Natural-looking medium brown results; 5G adds warmth.
• 6.05: Depth 6 medium-light brown, slightly warm-neutral. A middle ground between deeper and lighter browns.
• 7NB: Depth 7 light brown, natural beige. Warm medium-light brown visible on dark hair with good lift.
• 9CB: Depth 9 light-very-light blonde with copper base. Gives a warm copper-light brown tone.
• 9MB: Depth 9 light-very-light blonde with milky, cool-neutral base. Closest to ash-beige light brown.
• 10R: Depth 10 very light blonde, red pigment. Vivid red result - requires pre-lightening on dark hair.

The 9CB Copper Light Brown shade is one of the more distinctive options in this collection. The CB code indicates depth 9 (very light) with a copper base. On hair that is already medium to light brown, 9CB gives a warm copper-amber result with visible red-orange warmth. On dark unbleached hair, the lift reaches the mid-levels and the copper undertone adds warmth, but the full copper-light effect requires a lighter starting point.

Copper shades are popular for a sun-kissed warm result that reads differently under different light - richer indoors, lighter in daylight. Copper also fades faster than neutral browns because the warm molecules are smaller and migrate out of the shaft more easily than darker pigments. Using color-protective shampoo and doing touch-ups every 4-5 weeks rather than 6 helps maintain the copper saturation.

For the bundled kits, empty the full 120g color cream and the full 100ml oxidizer into the mixing bowl. Stir until evenly combined with no streaks. The ratio is approximately 1:1 by weight - this is pre-measured in the kit, so no additional calculation is needed. Apply immediately after mixing.

For the standalone Evinho Absolute tube, measure out your developer in the same 1:1 ratio: 120ml of developer for 120g of cream. Use 20-volume (6%) developer for shades 5N and 5G that need deposit and moderate lift. For the standalone tube used without a shade code, default to 20-volume unless you know your target shade requires otherwise.

Standard processing time for Sheet Absolute Cream is 30-40 minutes at room temperature. Start checking at 30 minutes by wiping a small area clean with a damp towel at the hairline. If the color has developed to the expected shade, rinse immediately. If the result looks too light (especially on grey areas that need full coverage), allow up to 40 minutes total but no longer.

Avoid applying external heat during processing. While heat accelerates development, it also increases damage and can create uneven results - the scalp areas (which are naturally warmer) develop faster than the ends, and added heat exaggerates this difference. Room temperature development gives the most controlled, even result across the full length.

Rinse the dye thoroughly until the water runs completely clear, which typically takes several minutes. Apply the conditioning treatment included in the kit immediately after rinsing to begin closing the cuticle. For the standalone Evinho tube (which may not include a separate conditioner), use a dedicated post-color or deep conditioning mask.

Avoid shampooing for 48 hours after the application. The cuticle remains partially open for up to two days following oxidative processing, and shampooing too soon removes some of the deposited pigment before it fully sets. When you do shampoo, use a sulfate-free product - SLS and SLES strip color faster than sulfate-free alternatives and are the primary drivers of early fade in permanent dyes.
