Most Korean essences combine multiple actives in a single formula, leaving the user uncertain which ingredient is doing the work. MIXSOON's approach is the reverse: each bottle names its primary active and uses supporting ingredients only to stabilize and deliver it - typically under 15 total ingredients per formula. This makes MIXSOON essences highly stackable: you can layer the Bean Essence with the Beta Glucan Essence without concern about ingredient conflict, because each formula is self-contained and deliberately minimal.

The practical result is a lineup where individual essences function as modular treatment steps: add one for hydration, one for ferment-based brightening, one for antioxidant defense, without needing to choose a single complex product that tries to cover all functions at lower concentration.

The Bean Essence is the flagship product in the MIXSOON lineup, available in two sizes. It also has significant calming properties on sensitive or compromised skin.

At 100 ml, this is the most generous size in the MIXSOON line - providing three to four months of daily use at typical essence application rates. It is suitable for sensitive, dry, or barrier-compromised skin that needs both hydration and barrier repair rather than targeted brightening or treatment. It layers well under the Bean Essence or independently as a single-essence step.

The Galactomyces Fermentation Essence (100 ml) features galactomyces - the yeast ferment used in sake fermentation that became a major K-beauty brightening ingredient after production workers in sake breweries were observed to have noticeably soft, luminous hands. Galactomyces ferment filtrate contains vitamins, amino acids, and organic acids in a biologically available form that the skin absorbs readily.

It functions primarily as a brightening and texture-refining essence - improving overall skin luminosity and the appearance of uneven tone with daily use. At 100 ml, it provides a generous supply. Apply after toner and before heavier treatment essences or moisturizer. It is the brightening-focused alternative in the MIXSOON lineup to the hydration-focused Bean Essence.

The Daisy Essence (100 ml) uses Bellis perennis (common daisy) extract as its key ingredient. Daisy extract contains arbutin precursors and polyphenols that contribute to brightening and antioxidant protection - it is studied for its ability to reduce the activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production. This makes the Daisy Essence a botanically-sourced brightening option for those who prefer plant-derived actives over fermentation-based or synthetic brighteners.

The 100 ml size provides a long supply for a daily-use essence. Apply after toner, either alone or stacked with the Bean Essence as a hydration-plus-brightening combination in the same routine step.

The Cypress Essence (100 ml) features cypress tree extract - a botanical with skin-conditioning and mild astringent properties that helps refine the appearance of pores and improve skin texture. Cypress extract also contains terpene compounds with antioxidant activity. It is the most texture-focused essence in the MIXSOON lineup, suited to normal or combination skin that needs pore refinement alongside hydration rather than intensive brightening or barrier repair.

Apply in the same step as other essences - after toner, before moisturizer. Because of its mild astringent properties, it works well on skin that feels congested or open-pored rather than primarily dehydrated.

The Scalp Hair Essence (50 ml) is the only scalp-targeted product in the MIXSOON essence collection, formulated for application to the scalp rather than the face. It extends the MIXSOON minimal-ingredient philosophy to scalp care - targeting scalp condition rather than hair strand treatment. Apply directly to the scalp after washing, section by section, and massage gently to stimulate absorption. The 50 ml size is practical for scalp use, where you apply a few drops to multiple sections rather than a full palms-worth as with a face essence.

Because each MIXSOON essence formula is short and self-contained, stacking two or three in one routine is straightforward without risk of ingredient conflict. A practical daily combination: Bean Essence as the moisture base, followed by either the Galactomyces Fermentation Essence for brightening or the Beta Glucan Essence for barrier repair, depending on the week's skin state. The Daisy Essence can alternate with the Galactomyces on brightening days for variety in the active input.

Apply from thinnest to thickest texture - the essences are all water-weight but vary slightly in viscosity. Allow each layer 20-30 seconds to absorb before applying the next.
