Protein treatments work best when applied under the right conditions:

1. Shampoo and rinse hair thoroughly.
2. Lightly towel-press to remove excess water-the treatment should be applied to damp (not soaking wet) hair. Excess water dilutes the protein concentration before it can deposit.
3. Apply the Protein Treatment from mid-shaft to ends. Avoid the scalp-protein on the scalp can cause buildup and clog follicles over time.
