KERASYS treatments span a broad intensity spectrum:

• Standard Treatment (conditioner-weight): applied after shampooing, left for 2-3 minutes, rinsed. The Moisture Clinic Treatment 250/300 ml and Damage Clinic Treatment 300 ml fall here. These are the conditioning step in a regular wash routine.
• Ampoule Treatment: higher active concentration, typically applied for 5-10 minutes and may require a heat cap for best penetration. The Advanced Repair Ampoule Treatment 1000 ml and Advanced Moisture Ampoule Treatment 600 ml are in this category. Used 1-2 times per week rather than at every wash.
• Propolis/Royal Propolis Treatments: premium-ingredient conditioning treatments in large formats (1 L). Designed for regular use as the primary conditioning step. The royal version has a higher concentration of propolis extract.

As a rule of thumb: standard treatments for every-wash conditioning; ampoule treatments for weekly intensive repair sessions.

• Damage Clinic Treatment 300 ml: protein-rich conditioning for structurally damaged hair from bleaching, chemical processing, or heat. Repairs the cuticle surface and reduces breakage at each wash.
• Moisture Clinic Treatment 250/300 ml: humectant-forward formula for naturally dry or dehydrated hair. Focuses on water retention rather than protein rebuilding.
• Volume Clinic Treatment 300 ml: lighter conditioning formula designed not to flatten fine hair. Uses lightweight polymers rather than heavy emollients, so hair retains body after drying.

Propolis is a resinous compound produced by bees, used in cosmetics for its antioxidant, antimicrobial, and film-forming properties. In haircare, propolis extract coats the hair shaft, adds shine, and provides mild protection against environmental damage. KERASYS offers two propolis treatment grades:

• Propolis Shine Treatment 1 L: standard propolis concentration, suitable for daily or every-other-day use as the main conditioning step. The 1 L size reflects that this is a regular-use product, not an occasional treatment.
• Royal Propolis Green Treatment 1000 ml: higher propolis concentration, positioned as a premium regular treatment. The green color comes from the royal propolis extract level rather than added colorant. Better for hair that wants more antioxidant and shine-building support.

Both formats rinse clean without heavy residue, making them suitable for hair that reacts poorly to silicone-heavy conditioners.

The Argan Oil treatment uses argan oil (high in oleic acid and vitamin E) as its key emollient. Argan oil molecules are small enough to penetrate the hair cuticle partially in addition to coating the surface, making it more effective at softening coarse or thick hair than surface-only conditioning agents.

Key use cases:

• Thick, coarse, or high-porosity hair that absorbs conditioning products quickly and still feels dry.
• Frizz-prone hair that needs a heavier lipid loading to stay smooth in humidity.
• Post-bleach hair that has lost its natural lipid content.

Apply from mid-shaft to ends, leave for 3-5 minutes, and rinse. The 1000 ml size reflects its use as a regular conditioning step rather than an occasional mask.

The Advanced Repair Ampoule Treatment (1000 ml) and Advanced Moisture Ampoule Treatment (600 ml) are KERASYS's highest-intensity format. Ampoule treatments use a higher active concentration and a penetration-enhancing formula that responds to heat-applying with a shower cap and warm towel or heat cap for 10-15 minutes improves ingredient absorption compared to a quick rinse-off application.

How to use:

1. Shampoo and lightly towel-dry hair.
2. Apply ampoule treatment generously from roots to ends (or mid-shaft to ends for oily scalps).
3. Cover with a shower cap or wrap in a warm towel.
4. Leave for 10-15 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

Use once or twice per week rather than at every wash. Overuse of intensive treatments can over-soften hair and reduce its elasticity. Repair Ampoule is for structurally damaged hair; Moisture Ampoule for dehydrated hair that is not chemically damaged.

KERASYS treatments come in a range of formats:

• 250-300 ml: Clinic series treatments. These are standard conditioning sizes-good for first-time buyers or single users who rotate products. Roughly 25-40 washes per bottle for shoulder-length hair.
• 600-1000 ml: Ampoule and premium-ingredient treatments. The large size reflects these products' intended role as regular conditioning steps used consistently over months. Better per-wash cost for confirmed favorites.

For a first purchase in a new concern series, start with the 300 ml. Move to the 1 L once you have confirmed the formula matches your hair's response.

Standard treatments fit between shampooing and rinsing: shampoo → rinse → treatment → 2-3 minutes → cool water rinse. Ampoule treatments require more time-plan for a 15-20 minute shower or a pre-shower application.

Practical tips:

• Apply treatment to damp (not soaking-wet) hair-excess water dilutes the formula before it can absorb.
• Focus on the areas where your hair is most damaged or dry-usually mid-shaft and ends. Avoid scalp application unless your product is specifically designed for it (most conditioning treatments are not).
• End with a cold-water rinse to close the cuticle after conditioning-this locks in what you've applied and improves shine.
• Towel-press (don't rub) after rinsing. Wet, conditioned hair is at its most elastic and most vulnerable to mechanical breakage.
