Aloe vera's documented benefits in cosmetic applications include soothing inflammation, providing surface hydration through its polysaccharide content (acemannan), mild wound healing support, and a cooling, refreshing sensation on application. These benefits are dose-dependent - a product that lists aloe vera at 84% delivers a meaningfully different effect from one with 1% in a water-based carrier.

The challenge with high-aloe products is texture and stability. Pure aloe vera gel from the leaf is thin and watery; stabilising it at 98% concentration without spoilage, without added preservatives that undermine the natural positioning, and without thickeners that change the sensory profile is a formulation challenge. JNC's Supergel uses a small amount of carbomer (a gel-forming polymer) to give the 98% formula its stable texture while keeping the aloe the dominant active.

The JNC 98% Aloe Vera Premium Supergel is the collection's centrepiece, available in three sizes: 120 ml, 240 ml, and 500 ml. The gel texture is clear and water-light - it absorbs without residue and doesn't leave the tacky feeling that some aloe gels produce. The high concentration means the soothing and hydrating effect is immediate and measurable.

Primary uses for the Supergel:

• After sun exposure: Apply immediately after sun exposure on affected skin. The aloe's anti-inflammatory compounds reduce redness and the cooling gel sensation provides immediate comfort.

The 90% First Aid Spray delivers aloe vera in a continuous mist format without requiring touch contact. This makes it particularly useful for:

• Sunburn on the back or shoulders where applying a gel by hand is difficult.

The 'Premium Narixing Lotion' name adds a secondary ingredient or positioning to the base 84% aloe formula - the 'Narixing' component indicates an additional active (often a plant extract or peptide fraction) layered on the core aloe base. If you want pure aloe with no secondary ingredients, the standard 84% Nourishing Lotion is the choice; if you want aloe plus a supporting active, the Narixing variant is worth trying.

The 84% Aloe Vera Facial Wash (240 ml) carries aloe vera through the cleansing step. Most cleansers contain trace aloe for marketing rather than function; at 84%, the JNC cleanser delivers a soothing dose even during the brief contact time of the cleansing phase. The wash suits sensitive and acne-prone skin where standard surfactant cleansers can cause post-cleanse tightness and irritation.

Apply to damp skin, massage gently for 30 to 60 seconds, and rinse with lukewarm water. The foam is light rather than dense - the high aloe concentration limits the foaming capacity but maintains the cleansing function. Follow with the Supergel or an aloe spray as the hydration step immediately after.

The Premium Aloe Vera Skin Spray (180 ml) is a lighter-mist format than the First Aid Spray - designed specifically for facial use as a mid-day refresh or a post-cleanse toning step.
