FOODAHOLIC Mists

Despite sharing a spray format, the FOODAHOLIC face mists and Twinkle body mists have different formulations and purposes:

• Face mists (Collagen, HA, Aloe Vera): skincare products formulated for the delicate facial skin. Lower fragrance content, active ingredient-focused serums in spray form. Applied to bare or made-up skin on the face.
• Twinkle body mists: fragrance-forward products for the body and hair. Not formulated as facial skincare - higher fragrance loading, designed for pulse points and the body surface. Applied after a shower or throughout the day to the body and clothing.

Do not substitute one for the other: body mists on the face can cause irritation from the higher fragrance content; face mists are safe on the body but provide minimal scent benefit at the typical body-mist application quantity.

The Collagen Soothing Mist (118ml and 200ml) delivers hydrolysed collagen in a spray serum. As with collagen in other topical formats, it works at the surface level - forming a film that temporarily plumps and smooths the skin surface and holds moisture in. The spray format makes it faster to apply than a lotion and more practical for midday refreshing over dried skincare or makeup.

The 118ml is the travel and desk size; the 200ml lasts longer for regular home use. Apply by holding 20-25cm from the face and spraying in a light mist over the skin surface. Can be layered over the face mists from the HA or Aloe Vera variants for a combined serum effect.

The Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Mist (118ml and 200ml) uses hyaluronic acid as the primary active - drawing moisture from the air into the skin surface with each application. HA in a mist works best in environments with moderate humidity; in very dry climates, the HA can pull moisture from the deeper layers of the skin rather than from the environment, potentially increasing dryness rather than reducing it. In normal indoor or outdoor humidity, this is not a concern.

This is the most straightforwardly hydrating face mist in the range. Use after cleansing as a toning step, or throughout the day over bare skin or light makeup.

The Aloe Vera Soothing Mist (118ml and 200ml) provides aloe vera's calming and cooling properties in spray form. It is the most soothing option in the face mist range - useful for reactive skin days, post-sun exposure, after exercise, or as a mid-afternoon cooling spray in summer. The 118ml is the carry-around size; refrigerating either size before use enhances the cooling effect noticeably.

Use over bare skin or very light makeup. Because aloe vera is less film-forming than collagen or HA, the Aloe Mist leaves a lighter feel than the other two face mists.

The Twinkle series includes four 250ml body mists with distinctly different scent profiles:

• Aquamarine: fresh aquatic and ocean-inspired scent profile, suggesting clean water and sea air.
• Amethyst Bouquet: floral, violet-leaning fragrance - more romantic and warm.
• Grapefruit Peridot: bright and citrusy, light grapefruit with a green mineral accent.
• Ruby Red: warm, deeper red-fruited scent - berry and musk.

The gem-inspired naming is purely aesthetic - the scent profiles are differentiated, not the ingredients. All four are equivalent in texture and application. Choose based on the mood and scent type you prefer for daily wear.

Standard application methods for the face mists:

• As a toning step: after cleansing, mist over bare skin before applying serum. The mist acts as a first hydration layer and can improve serum absorption.
• Over makeup: mist lightly over makeup for a mid-day refresh. Keep the spray at 25-30cm distance and use one or two short passes.
• After exercise: apply to cool and calm the skin after physical activity.
• Before serum: applying a face mist immediately before a serum to damp skin can increase absorption speed.

Avoid spraying directly into the eyes or mouth. Do not use face mists as a substitute for cleanser - they add active ingredients but do not remove dirt or sunscreen.

Apply Twinkle body mists after showering and dressing - spray onto the body (shoulders, chest, wrists) and optionally into the hair. For longer-lasting scent, spray onto pulse points (wrists, neck, inner elbows) where body warmth diffuses the fragrance throughout the day. A 250ml bottle at moderate use typically lasts two to three months.

Body mists are lighter in fragrance intensity than perfumes and need to be reapplied through the day for consistent scent. Reapply from the 250ml bottle or carry a smaller decanted bottle if you want to refresh the scent at midday.

The 118ml face mist is the portable size - suitable for a bag or travel. The 200ml is the home or desk size with a longer supply at daily use. At 3-5 mist applications per day, a 200ml bottle lasts 6-8 weeks. The 118ml lasts 3-4 weeks at the same frequency. If you use the mist both at home and on the go, buying one of each is practical - the same formula in two sizes.
