Flordeman Strong

FLORdeMAN labels its maximum-hold styling products as "Super Strong." This designates products formulated to withstand wind, humidity, and activity without the style collapsing mid-day. Unlike casual-hold sprays, Super Strong products are intended for styles that need to stay set: swept-back looks, structured waves, and defined shapes that must hold for 8+ hours.

The formula relies on a combination of styling film-formers and protein-based conditioners that add hold while coating the hair shaft gently, reducing the stiffness sometimes associated with strong-hold products.

The Strong range comes in two main formats:

• Hairspray (300ml can): The most popular format. Provides an even-coverage hold from a distance of 20-30cm. Suitable for finishing a complete style or locking specific sections in place. Available with keratin, silk protein, camellia, and henna variants.
• Hair Gel (500ml pump or spherical jar): Applied to damp or dry hair before styling. Gel provides a firmer, sculpted hold and is better for structured styles, slicked-back looks, or textured definition. The silk protein version reduces stiffness compared to standard styling gels.

Each Sub-line in the Strong range is named after its key conditioning ingredient:

• Keratin Silk Protein: The most popular sub-line. Silk proteins smooth the cuticle and reduce frizz, while keratin reinforces the hair shaft during styling. Spray and gel versions available.
• Henna Herbal Tea: A plant-based alternative. Henna strengthens the hair strand and adds a subtle natural sheen. The herbal tea base gives a lighter, airier texture after drying. Suitable for finer hair that needs hold without weight.
• Red Flow Camellia: Camellia oil is a traditional Korean hair care ingredient known for shine and moisture retention. This sub-line delivers strong hold with a smoother, glossier finish than the keratin line.

1. Style your hair first using your usual method (blow-dry, curl, or brush).
2. Hold the can 20-30cm away from your head.
3. Spray in short, even bursts across the surface of the style, not a single concentrated stream.
4. For maximum hold, apply a second light pass after 30 seconds, once the first coat has partially dried.
5. Do not touch the hair until fully dry (1-2 minutes) to avoid disrupting the hold film.

To add volume at the roots, flip your head forward and mist the roots upward before styling.

1. Dispense a 10-cent coin-sized amount for short hair; more for medium-to-long hair.
2. Rub between palms to activate, then work through damp or towel-dried hair from roots to ends.
3. Style into the desired shape immediately while the gel is workable (first 60 seconds).
4. Allow to air dry or use a blow-dryer on medium heat while shaping with a brush or comb.
5. Once dry, the gel sets firmly. Do not add more product once dry as this causes buildup.

Many FLORdeMAN Strong products are available in 3-pack and 10-pack bundles. These are designed for:

• Daily users: A 300ml hairspray lasts approximately 3-4 weeks with daily use. A 3-pack covers a full season without reordering.
• Barbershops and salons: The 10-pack bulk option is priced for professional use, covering multiple clients per day for 2-3 months.
• Stocking up: Hairsprays and gels have a 3-year unopened shelf life, so bulk purchasing makes practical sense for consistent users.

FLORdeMAN Strong products wash out easily with standard shampoo. If you use hairspray daily, a clarifying shampoo once a week prevents polymer buildup on the scalp. For gel users, rinse with warm water before shampooing to break down the product film first. Avoid applying gel on top of dried gel from the previous day without washing first, as layered product causes flaking.
