Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the dermis and replace structural collagen directly. What hydrolyzed collagen (broken into smaller peptide fragments) does at the surface is act as a humectant - it attracts and holds water, leaving skin feeling plumper and smoother. The practical result is improved surface texture and sustained moisture, not deep structural change. This is still a meaningful benefit for dehydrated or texture-uneven skin.

The Cream Ampoule (250ml) is a serum-to-cream consistency treatment step used after toner. The Cream (100ml) is a traditional moisturiser used as a final step. For most people, the ampoule alone provides enough hydration and the cream adds a sealing layer - use both if your skin is very dry or in cold, dry weather. For normal-to-combination skin, the ampoule on its own in a two-step routine (with the toner) is often sufficient.

Scoop a pea-sized amount onto dry hands. Warm between palms until it liquefies. Massage over dry face for 30 to 60 seconds to dissolve makeup and SPF. Add a small amount of water to emulsify - it turns milky. Rinse off. Follow with a water-based second cleanser. Do not use as a standalone cleanser if you are wearing makeup or high-SPF sunscreen.

It is primarily designed for dehydrated to dry skin. The cream and cream ampoule are heavier than what oily skin typically tolerates well. If you have oily skin but want the collagen hydration, the toner and emulsion alone (without the cream ampoule or cream) can work as a lighter option. The peeling gel and rolling eye serum are suitable for all skin types.

The Full Moist Peeling Gel includes the collagen and humectant formula alongside the standard roll-off exfoliation mechanism, so it moisturises as it exfoliates. After use, skin feels resurfaced but not stripped - a noticeably different outcome from standard acid-only peeling gels. The 180ml size is larger than the 100ml Deep Clear gels in the other Farm Stay lines.
