12G Highlighter is a pure high-lift formula that maximises lightening with minimal colour deposit - the result is the lightest possible near-platinum base. 9N Ultra Light Tan lifts to a similar light level but deposits a warm, neutral tone alongside the lift, giving a natural sun-lightened blonde effect rather than a stark platinum. If you want the lightest possible base for toning afterward, choose 12G. If you want a complete light-blonde result without a separate toning step, choose 9N.

GP Wine produces a deep wine-burgundy tone - a rich, warm dark red with a purple cast.
