Etude Pure Barrier Cream

The Pure Moisture Barrier Cream is a mid-weight moisturiser with a smooth, non-greasy texture that absorbs fully without leaving a sticky film. Its primary function is hydration maintenance: humectants draw moisture into the skin while barrier-supporting lipids and emollients slow its evaporation. The cream is fragrance-reduced and minimally irritating, which suits sensitive skin types alongside its primary dry and combination skin audience.

The Pure Moisture Barrier Cream is available in several configurations:

• 75 ml jar: the original format. A small spatula is recommended for hygienic dispensing to avoid contaminating the jar with fingers.
• 75 ml tube (also labelled Tubular 75 ml): the same formula in a tube rather than a jar. Tubes are more hygienic than jars since the product is sealed from air and finger contact. The AD Tube is a later packaging update.
• 130 ml jar: the large-format option for regular users or households with two users.
• 100 ml Cacao Friends limited edition: a large-capacity jar in Cacao Friends (LINE FRIENDS character brand) packaging. The formula is the same; the packaging is collectible.
• AD Tube 2-pack (two 75 ml tubes): the best-value option for regular users of the tube format.

Apply as the final moisturising step in both morning and evening routines:

1. After cleansing, apply toner, essence, or serum and allow them to absorb partially.
2. Dispense a pea-sized to small coin-sized amount (adjust for your face coverage needs).
3. Warm the cream between fingertips and press onto the face with patting motions rather than rubbing.
4. Pay attention to dry patches (cheeks, forehead, lip border) and apply a second small amount if those areas need more coverage.
5. In the morning, follow with SPF after the cream has absorbed (one to two minutes).

The formula is identical; the choice is hygiene and preference:

• Tube format: more hygienic (no air or finger contact with the bulk product), easier to travel with, and the dispenser reduces waste. The AD tube is the most current production. The 2-pack AD Tube is the best per-unit value.

• 130 ml jar: approximately five to six months.
