FOODAHOLIC's soothing range comes in two delivery formats with distinct applications and feel:

Soothing Mist: A fine-spray product dispensed from a pressurized mist bottle. Soothing mists create a light veil of hydrating liquid on the skin surface - they are absorbed quickly and are primarily used for instant cooling, refreshing, and light hydration throughout the day. Mists are particularly useful for over-makeup use (they do not disturb finished makeup), for midday refreshing without washing, and for immediate cooling after sun exposure or exercise.

Soothing Gel: A leave-on gel-textured product applied with the hands. Gels are thicker than mists and have a more substantial moisturizing effect - they stay on the skin longer and deliver more active ingredient contact time. The cooling sensation from a gel (particularly aloe vera gel) is also more intense than from a mist. Gels suit dry or sensitive skin that needs more than a quick refresh, and are often used as overnight treatments, body hydrators, or intensive soothing applications after sun or heat exposure.

The mist and gel formats are complementary rather than competing. Common usage: mist for daytime refreshing, gel for morning and evening facial application or full-body after-shower use.

Aloe vera is FOODAHOLIC's most prominent ingredient across the soothing range, appearing in three products:

• Aloe Vera Soothing Mist (118ml and 200ml): A fine mist of aloe-infused water for instant cooling and surface hydration. The 118ml travel size fits airline carry-on restrictions. The 200ml is the standard daily-use size. Both are used for midday refreshing, after sun exposure, or as a setting mist over makeup.
• Aloe Vera Soothing Gel 500ml: A thick, translucent aloe gel for face and body use. 500ml is a generous size that lasts months for face-only use, or weeks for full-body daily application. The gel provides a cooling sensation on application that makes it practical for soothing skin after sun exposure, after shaving, or as a lightweight overnight moisturizer.
• Aloe Vera Soothing Gel 1000ml: The economy size - one liter of aloe gel. This is one of the largest single-use skincare products on skinsli and is most practical for people who use aloe gel daily on both face and body, or for households where multiple people use it regularly. At a typical daily full-body application of approximately 10-15ml, a 1000ml bottle provides 2-3 months of supply.

Aloe vera gel (aloe barbadensis leaf juice) is one of the most well-studied soothing skincare ingredients. Its active compounds - acemannan, glycoproteins, and polysaccharides - provide anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, and moisture-retaining benefits. It is non-comedogenic and appropriate for most skin types including oily and acne-prone.

The Collagen Soothing Mist adds collagen as a surface humectant to the mist formula. Collagen in a mist product works at the skin surface - it does not penetrate the dermis, but it provides a film-forming effect that helps retain moisture and adds a temporary smoothing and plumping sensation after application.

This mist is suited to normal to dry skin that wants a more nourishing mist than a plain aloe or water-based formula. The collagen content makes the Collagen Mist feel slightly richer and more conditioning on the skin surface compared to the Aloe Vera Mist, which is more cooling and refreshing.

Available in 118ml (travel) and 200ml (standard). Both sizes use the same formula - choose based on the use case: travel or gym bag use favors the 118ml; daily desk or bathroom counter use favors the 200ml.

The Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Mist uses sodium hyaluronate - the salt form of hyaluronic acid with better skin surface interaction - as its primary active. In a mist, hyaluronic acid provides humectancy: it draws water from the air and the deeper skin layers to the skin surface, providing a hydrating effect that outlasts the initial cooling sensation of the mist itself.

The HA Mist is the most hydration-focused option in the FOODAHOLIC mist range. It suits dry or dehydrated skin that needs more moisture retention than a plain aloe or refreshing mist provides. It also works as a setting mist after applying skincare to help "seal" the hydrating layers before applying moisturizer or sunscreen.

The Rosewater Soothing Gel is a smaller-format (100ml) gel compared to the large Aloe Vera variants. Rosewater (Rosa damascena flower water) provides light hydration with a mild anti-inflammatory effect and the characteristic soft floral fragrance of rose. It is one of the oldest and most widely used botanical ingredients in skincare, with a long history in Middle Eastern and European cosmetics before becoming popular in K-beauty.

The gel texture of the Rosewater product provides more staying power on the skin than a mist, making it appropriate as a toner-layer replacement or as a light moisturizing step on warm days when heavier moisturizers feel too heavy. The 100ml size is the smallest in the soothing gel range - practical as a travel item or as a facial-specific product (compared to the liter-size Aloe gel which is clearly designed for broader body use).

The Real Black Snail Soothing Gel is FOODAHOLIC's premium soothing gel, combining snail secretion filtrate with the brand's signature gel format. The "Black Snail" designation indicates a higher-tier snail extract positioning - typically a more concentrated or refined filtrate. At 300ml, this gel is large enough for both facial and body use.

Snail secretion filtrate brings a more active ingredient profile to the gel format compared to plain aloe vera: glycoproteins, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, and antimicrobial peptides all contribute to a recovery-focused formula. The Black Snail Soothing Gel is particularly suited to skin that is in a repair phase - after breakouts, sun damage, or any period when the skin needs more than basic soothing and hydration.

As a gel, it applies with the cooling and light texture familiar from aloe gels, but leaves a more conditioning and recovery-active finish on the skin. Use it in the same contexts as the Aloe Vera Gel, but expect a more intensive restorative effect.

Facial mists can be used over finished makeup without disturbing the coverage, provided they are applied correctly:

1. Hold the mist bottle 20-30cm from your face.
2. Spray in a fine, even cloud - do not spray directly and heavily at one point, which can wet the makeup too much and cause it to move.
3. Allow the mist to settle and absorb on its own; do not pat or rub after misting.

The FOODAHOLIC mists in 118ml and 200ml are light enough that a brief spray leaves a fine veil rather than a wet application. The Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid mists are the best choices for over-makeup use because they absorb quickly; the Collagen mist may leave a slightly more noticeable finish due to the film-forming properties of collagen.

Aloe vera gel applied to sunburned skin is one of the most well-supported topical interventions for minor sun damage - the anti-inflammatory and wound-healing compounds in aloe reduce redness, swelling, and the progression of damage in the hours after sun exposure.

For maximum effect: keep the gel refrigerated during the summer months so it is cool when applied. Apply a generous amount to the affected area, allow it to absorb, and reapply several times throughout the day. Do not massage or rub into sunburned skin - pat gently instead. Avoid alcohol-containing products on sunburned skin.

The FOODAHOLIC Aloe Vera Soothing Gel at 500ml or 1000ml is practical for this use because it allows for generous applications without rationing. The cooling effect is best in the first hour after application when the gel has not yet fully absorbed.
